Our History
FROM THE BEGINNING…
The initiative that is now Prestige Football Development, was formed in the year 2012 followed by, research and crucial recruiting to help find individuals who were passionate about the youth’s contribution in the world of sports, and eventually got the ball rolling in late 2013, but it was not until 2014 that the really began establishing itself on the soccer front.
And during its acceptance into the jowest local football leagues (Jowest LFA), the team rose to the occasion and acquired top in both its primary age groups (super league and under 17 junior league) on the logs and still growing evermore frighteningly “for the oppositions”.
…WITH PASSION…
Prestige Football was one of the teams who managed to reach the semi-finals and went on to advance to the finals in this year’s (2014) Steven Pienaar Tournament in Westbury Johannesburg and the Lowest Super league we did exceptionally well to complete the opening season in having finished in 4st position with the under 17 finishing 1st.
…To Today.
The current president is, Mr. Ibrahim N. Nsangou and he is joined by vice chair Mrs.
Modester Ndlovu a prominent South African businesswoman for some 15 years in Johannesburg.
Mr I. Nsangou began with this venture after himself had just ended his professional football career and went into business by starting his own carpentry company (Prestige Wood Décor) in the year 2005.
He has since enlisted the expertise of fellow Les Lions Indomitable (The Indomitable Lions) ex pro-footballer Timothy G EBANDA EBANDA now current Head Coach at the development.
